Working Together to Improve School Attendance (2024) - Survey for Schools

Further to MI Sheet 55/24 the Attendance Team will be working in partnership with schools and a range of professionals throughout the summer term to implement the revised national framework for the start of the new academic year. While some schools will feel confident to meet the new requirements, we have heard from others that they require additional support. In order to inform our response to the changes in guidance, we would like to hear from as many education settings as possible and invite you to contribute through completing a short survey before 17 May 2024.

The results of this survey will be used to inform the development of future support for schools in order to meet the requirements of the revised national framework for attendance. In parallel, we will be consulting with the wider safeguarding partnership to understand their contribution to this issue.

The survey should take no longer than 10 minutes to complete and will be discussed in Targeting Support Meetings at the beginning of the Summer Term.
