Sexual abuse and harmful sexual behaviour

Tackling Child Sexual Abuse is one of the key priorities for the Norfolk Safeguarding Children Partnership. The following links provide useful information and resources for schools.

Harmful Sexual Behaviour (HSB)

Educational settings are an important part of the network already in existence  around the child. Often, the early identifiers of harmful sexual behaviour can be seen in the setting as this is where the young person regularly interacts with others. Research highlights the importance of educational staff working to address the attitudes and values which underpin harmful sexual behaviours.
