Calling Norfolk Parents/Carers: Share Your Views on Youth Smoking and Vaping
Norfolk County Council has partnered with ICE Creates Ltd to design and evaluate interventions aimed at supporting children and young people (CYP) in addressing nicotine use. The project includes creating training for professionals working with CYP and providing recommendations for future development or broader implementation of these interventions. The focus is on secondary school-aged CYP who use nicotine and those living in households where nicotine is used. As part of this initiative, ICE Creates Ltd is engaging with CYP and their parents or carers to gather valuable insights that will help shape effective interventions for nicotine use among young people in Norfolk.
We kindly ask the school to share the QR code and information (PDF, 1 MB) with CYP and their parents/carers and to display the posters within the school. Below is the message for parents/carers of CYP aged 11 yrs to 18 yrs.
If you are a parent or carer of a young person in Norfolk who smokes or vapes or used to smoke or vape, we want to hear from you. Please email insight@icecreates.com to check if you are eligible to take part and sign up for a 1-hour virtual focus group.
