Appeals procedure

Should you wish to appeal against the withdrawal or suspension of your early education funding or a request to repay part or all of the funding please follow the procedure shown below.

Step 1

If you disagree with a decision by the Council to withdraw, withhold or reclaim funding, you may write, setting out your reasons for disagreeing with the decision, to :

Step 2

The Council will investigate and respond to you in writing within 10 working days. If the Council cannot provide a full response within 10 working days then it will write to you explaining this and give a date by which you can expect a full response.

Step 4

The Council will inform you of the decision of the Final Appeal within 5 working days of the date that the Appeal being considered.

Step 5

The decision of the Executive Director is final.
