Whole school approach to GRT in schools

• The Traveller Movement Youth Programme offers programmes and projects aimed at young people's education and job attainment.
• Inspired by their Youth Advisory Group, the Travellers Times developed It's Kushti to Rokker ('It's good to talk') project which tells of the real lived experiences of young Gypsies and Travellers through drama, poetry and documentary.
  • The accompanying toolkit provides information and support for young people, their families and friends and service providers.
• For older children, Friends, Families & Travellers (gypsy-traveller.org) provides a list of universities that provide grants for GRT children and young people.
• Traveller Pride offers a LGBT+ helpline for GRT children and young people.
