Communication Hubs September/October 2024

From Tuesday 24 September 2024, the early years communication hubs will be hosting their next round of meetings. The theme for this round is 'Early Childhood Communication'.

These meetings are face to face, and these sessions will be delivered by Early Years Advisors and Improvement and Development Workers from the Early Years team at Norfolk County Council and our Speech and Language Therapist colleagues from Cambridgeshire Community Services.

We will be looking at:

• Why is communication vital?
• The communication landscape and the Norfolk picture
•  Early developmental stages in communication; what to expect and what to do if we have a concern
•  Accessing support
• Speech and language therapist surgery

The communication hubs run from 6:30 to 8:30pm, incorporating a speech and language surgery during the session. Please note this surgery is no longer an optional session at the end of the communication hub.
