At INTRAN, we help schools break down language barriers, offering reliable, high-quality interpreting and translation services to ensure equitable access to education for all. 

We are excited to invite schools across Norfolk to our free training sessions. These sessions will provide an overview of our range of interpretation and translation services, which include:  

  • Telephone interpreting 
  • Face-to-face interpreting 
  • Video interpreting 
  • British Sign Language (BSL) interpreting 
  • Braille 
  • Translation 

Our training will offer step-by-step guidance on the booking process, featuring live demonstrations, best practice tips and useful resources. We aim to ensure your staff feel confident and comfortable accessing INTRAN services, promoting safe practices. 

Training dates (via MS Teams)

  • Wednesday 20 November: 9:30-11am  
  • Wednesday 22 January: 3:30-5pm  

To secure your place, please email intrantraining@norfolk.gov.uk with your preferred date, name, job title, school, and any specific requirements.  

Please note: If you are an Academy, you will need to have a membership with INTRAN to join the training. Contact your MAT/Academy Trust to join their existing subscription if they have INTRAN membership already. Alternatively, contact intran@norfolk.gov.uk to arrange membership with us.
