Specialist Resource Base outcome notifications

In the next round of SRB triage and admissions meetings, the parents/carers of young people who are not offered a place or are deferred to the next meeting will no longer be sent the outcome by letter. Instead, the LA will email the school who had submitted the referral with details of the outcome.

We ask that the SENCO or relevant teacher share this information directly with the family. If the response is that a place has not been offered this gives the opportunity for discussion to support families in understanding the reason why.
