New Breckland Early Years Communication Hub

The New Breckland Early Years Communication Hub is launching on 31 March 2025.

We are launching a new Communication Hub in Thetford for the Breckland area, which will run alongside the five already established Hubs in Norfolk. 

Each term there will be a podcast to listen to, followed by an in-person meeting focusing on the theme of the podcast. We will explore how to put what you have heard on the podcast and at the meeting into practice in your setting. 

Our theme this term is physical development and communication and how these link.

Before you attend the Hub,  listen to the podcast with Anne O'Connor discussing the links between the brain and body and physical development and communication. 

The Hub meetings include a question time with a Speech and Language Therapist, where you can ask questions relating to any speech, language and communication needs that you require support with, such as which strategies to use, how to implement them or assessment and intervention questions.
