Religious education agreed syllabus
Norfolk Standing Advisory Council on Religious Education (SACRE), appointed by the County Council, seeks to:
- Advise the local authority on matters regarding religious education
- Support schools in review and self-evaluation of their provision for religious education
- Review, develop and publish an agreed syllabus for religious education which has been adopted by the local authority
Norfolk SACRE published the new agreed syllabus on 1 November 2019. It will become statutory from September 2020. Until then the 2012 syllabus remains in place.
