Religious education agreed syllabus

Norfolk Standing Advisory Council on Religious Education (SACRE), appointed by the County Council, seeks to:

Advise the local authority on matters regarding religious education
Support schools in review and self-evaluation of their provision for religious education
Review, develop and publish an agreed syllabus for religious education which has been adopted by the local authority

Norfolk SACRE published the new agreed syllabus on 1 November 2019. It will become statutory from September 2020. Until then the 2012 syllabus remains in place.
