This package provides access to professional HR advice and support and a comprehensive model employment policy framework.

Passionate about education, our qualified HR staff deliver professional, expert advice and support on all staffing issues. Extensive assistance is given to leaders and managers through complex staffing situations. We'll be there to help when things get tough. In addition our comprehensive range of model policies and procedures with written guidance (available 24/7 through the easy to use InfoSpace site) provides a sound base to use when determining your own employment framework. Package delivery

The package will deliver the following.

Employment policy framework

• InfoSpace accounts with the ability to manage access locally
• Model policies, procedures, written guidance and employee schemes (maternity etc.), all maintained in line with national conditions, employment law and education statute
• Comprehensive updates system to advise customers on changes to model documents, allowing review of any locally adopted policies and procedures
• Proactive e-mail alerts when action may be required by customer establishments
• Regular newsletters from the HR team, updating on important topics
• Effective search and menu functions; handy favourites section
• Helpful links to other sites
• Integrated content for those also accessing policy and written guidance published by Education Finance and/or the NCC Health, Safety and Well-being service

Professional advice and support (HR Consultancy)

• An experienced HR Consultant who will work with leaders, developing a strong working relationship and supporting the achievement of the organisation's priorities
• Strategic and operational advice on the full range of employee relations activities including redundancy, ill-health, misconduct and grievance
• Additional support from a wider team of experts, e.g. for formal hearings, complex ill-health scenarios, mediation
• Access to an occupational health service provider
• Delivery of the service through telephone, e-mail, and on-site visits
• Active assistance in liaising with LADO in relation to allegations of abuse claims against staff
• Training in a range of staffing related topics
• Support in handling interactions with trade unions
