Whole school approach to anti-bullying in schools

Try these 'quick wins' before thinking about anything else to get you started and see the difference you could make.
- Think about first impressions! Add signs and clear messaging that bullying is never acceptable in your school - display these messages at your school gates, welcome area and on your school website. You can find some simple information and signposting to load onto your school website in this padlet.
- Implement a peer-led approach to bullying behaviour in your school by planning in anti-bullying activities that support students to develop new skills. To access all resources to achieve this, click on the links below: primary and secondary.
- Ensure all staff have consistent and effective ways to tackle different types of bullying behaviour e.g. racism-related bullying behaviour, homophobic bullying behaviour, cyberbullying behaviour. The Anti-Bullying Alliance offers free staff training.
