School fund audit

Schools who operate a school fund can purchase an audit of their accounts. We will produce a set of accounts and report within 20 working days of receipt of all the required documentation. On completion we will issue a report with our findings to be presented to governors in accordance with the school's finance policies. We would expect accounts to be in good order and reconciled. In exceptional circumstances an extra charge may be levied due to the time required to complete the final accounts.

Friends or PTA accounts audit

An audit service is available for friends/PTA accounts. A full set of accounts will be produced, and a report issued within 20 working days of receipt of all documentation. The report will include findings on the financial operation within the accounts. We would expect accounts to be in good order and reconciled. In exceptional circumstances an extra charge may be levied due to the time required to complete the final accounts.

Financial health check

This service includes an onsite visit to your educational establishment in order to review internal controls and a report on our findings.

The service is designed to give assurance to the leadership of the school or setting that efficient and effective financial controls are in place, which reduce the risk of fraud.

Inventory check

The inventory check is a bespoke visit designed around your educational setting. Our team will complete the onsite visit updating the asset register with all the required information and give some training to school staff in the functional use of the asset register and how best to integrate it into everyday operations with the information required. The visit will ensure a complete inventory of your site is captured. This service can be purchased as a one off or annual basis.
