The Administering Finance in Education and entry level Bookkeeping in Education qualifications have been developed specifically for school finance officers and school business managers. Each unit builds practical operational skills and accountancy knowledge that will help you in your job straight away and achieve better financial administration for your school.
Bookkeeping in Education Qualification (level 2)
This Level 2 qualification is suitable for people with GCSEs and those already working in a finance role within an educational establishment. Administering Finance in Education Qualification (level 3)
this qualification is most suitable for people with A levels and/or those already working in a finance role within an educational establishment. Units cover bookkeeping, costing, procurement, preparing financial accounts, VAT, internal control systems and budgeting. Find out more about the Administering in Education qualification.
Managing Finance in Education Qualification (level 4)
(Please note: this course is not currently being delivered.) This bespoke qualification is ideal for anyone responsible for the management of finances in schools and academies, and is suitable for those already working in, or aspiring to work in, a finance management role within an educational establishment.
