SEN inclusion funding

The panel will convene once a term to consider applications for SEND funding. Please note the Panel date may change, however the deadline date will always remain the same.

Providers are reminded -

• Parents and carers must consent that an application can be submitted and information will be shared on the portal
• Applications are only declined where a child does not meet the criteria
• The funding rate is based on the need determined by the banding descriptors
• The award is based on the number funded early education hours claimed
• All documentation must be submitted by NOON on the deadline date
• More information may be required to determine an award

Late claims will be accepted where a child commences their funded place after the deadline.

• Application Deadline - 17 May
• Panel - 11 June
• Payment - w/c 17 June

Autumn 2024

• Application Deadline - 4 October
• Panel - 22 October
• Payment - w/c 28 October

Spring 2025

• Application Deadline - 17 January
• Panel - 4 February
• Payment - w/c 10 February

The is no deadline for EHCP applications. These should be submitted as soon as a plan is agreed.
