Emergency Contacts & Keyholders

FAO: Headteachers / School office managers, 4 July 2024 09:58
Action

Norfolk County Council has a system that retains contact details of the emergency contacts and keyholders, headteachers, Caretakers and other relevant school staff, so that the school can be contacted in the event of any emergencies or critical incidents in the evenings, weekends, or in holiday periods.

With only a few days left until the Summer break, we are reminding schools to review their contact details to ensure they are up-to-date.

We suggest that you register at least four names to ensure that someone can be contacted at any time, including holiday periods, including the headteacher and caretaker/site manager and other senior staff or governors. Please note that the information will be password protected and only be accessible to specific people at the school and the senior Children's Services officers who receive emergency and Critical Incident calls.

To access the site log in to My School, select the "Staff" section and then select "Emergency Contacts & Keyholders".
