School & College Travel Policy 2024

The Norfolk County Council School & Travel Policy is reviewed annually and has been updated for September 2024. This policy clearly explains how we will fulfil our Statutory duties for Home to School travel.

This Policy is essential for our school system as it helps Norfolk children of compulsory school age and Post 16 students to access education by offering transport to eligible children.   Any updates to our policy document have not affected eligibility, but more detailed information has been added to provide clarity on roles, responsibilities, and entitlement to transport.  The policy complies with current Government legislation.
