Norfolk County Council has funded free telephone interpreting services for schools with refugees from INTRAN since commencement of the Covid-19 pandemic to help you meet the safeguarding and inclusion needs of children and young people, and their families. The free access code will cease from 31 August 2024

Membership to INTRAN ensures your ability to access high quality interpreting and translation services in over 400 languages, by appointment or on-demand. All professionals working under INTRAN are DBS checked and qualified to minimum framework standards to ensure professionalism, accuracy, impartiality, and confidentiality. Find more about INTRAN.

Schools with refugees can continue to access funding for interpretation services via a new fully funded programme of support for schools. Find out more about this and sign up..
