Reminder: Dedicated Schools Grant Consultation Events

As part of this year's Dedicated Schools Grant consultation process (1-24 October 2024), we are undertaking a broader listening exercise in relation to the SEN system in Norfolk, to gather as much feedback as possible from education leaders about what you want to see changed, enhanced or prioritised, alongside the technical consultation on funding allocation.  

This is an important opportunity for us to come together as a system to design the right models for Norfolk children and young people, and we would encourage you all to participate in the consultation.

Briefing sessions for all schools

As a reminder, please find below further details of their format and locations: 

• 17 October, 16:00-18:00 - Online via Teams (link to join) 
• 22 October, 10:30-12:30 - Online via Teams (link to join) 
• 23 October, 16:00-18:00 - King's Lynn Academy (Google Maps link) - click to book  

Additional sessions for maintained schools only

• We are holding a separate session relating to Shared Parental Leave and to Maternity Leave - Holiday Pay Element.  This session also relates to maintained schools only.  The session will be online through Teams on Tuesday 15 October 2024, 4-5pm.  Please email any questions you may have prior to the session by 9am on Monday 14 October 2024 to budgetshare@norfolk.gov.uk.
• An engagement session relating to the Internal Audit offer is also taking place, as relating to Local Authority maintained schools only. This session is online through Teams on Wednesday 16 October 2024, 2:30-3:30pm.
