Black History Month
In schools, celebrating Black History Month (BHM) boosts confidence, promotes understanding and empathy to support a more equitable society. It helps the whole school community to feel welcome, safe and included by championing representation, challenging stereotypes, and promoting inclusivity and empowerment.
The briefing has an accompanying padlet of resources to help you navigate local and national resources available, include teaching and learning resources designed to captivate and inform children and young people.
We hope you have an enjoyable and impactful Black History Month!
