St Giles is offering a range of sessions during autumn term.

Professionals' sessions

Gangs, County Lines and Serious Youth Violence- Awareness and Preventative - St Giles SOS+ (Microsoft Teams) 

By attending the session, participants will: 

  • have an improved understanding of gang involvement, exploitation, violence and keeping safe online. 
  • have an understanding of the risk factors facing young people. 
  • improved understanding to support informed and relevant conversations with young people about making positive choices. 

Dates and times of training: 

Tuesday 12 November 2024 - 10am to 12 noon 

Tuesday 28 January 2025 - 5pm to 7pm 

Tuesday 4 March 2025 - 10am to 12 noon

Parents and carers sessions

Understanding gangs and county lines for parents and carers

Thursday 14 November 2024 10- 11.30am online 

Inviting parents and carers to join us for an awareness raising session to help recognise the signs and indicators that young people are at risk of becoming involved in gangs, exploitation and violence; as well as advice on how to have conversations about these issues and where to seek support.
