Kooth - digital emotional wellbeing and mental health support for children and young people

Kooth is a free, safe and anonymous digital emotional wellbeing and mental health support for children and young people.
The service for those living in Norfolk and Waveney is now available for children and young people (10- 18 year olds and up to their 19th Birthday).
Kooth plc provides British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy accredited services for 10-18 year olds in Norfolk & Waveney: Kooth CYP is a commissioned online counselling service providing a free, safe and non-judgemental place for young people to connect with others and know they are not alone. They have instant access to self-help materials, live moderated discussion forums and tools such as online journals and goal trackers. Young people can also contribute written pieces of work reflecting their own experiences, as well as accessing drop-in or booked sessions with professional counsellors from 12pm-10pm weekdays and 6pm-10pm weekends.
The services are completely anonymous and a fantastic way for young people to get the help and support they need, with no long waiting times or referral processes.

Secondary School Wellbeing Session
Prior to the session, a Zoom link and a letter you can send to parents and carers will be provided, letting them know what their child will be hearing about in the session. If these dates do not align with your calendars, please get in touch to check additional availability. Alternatively, a recording can be sent which you can deliver to your students.

- Wellbeing Activity Sheets - (You can find wellbeing resilience activity sheets here which you can use in lessons)
- KoothTalks: We offer monthly online national awareness sessions for professionals, parents/carers and student sessions around different topics - You can register for free via the link below, don't worry if you are unavailable during that date/time a recording will be sent out to you.

- Staff awareness information sessions which could form part of your staff meetings to give a full picture of our services - who we are, what support pathways can be accessed and how to signpost to the young people you are working with.
