Fire Safety webinar

The Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service is pleased to invite your school to a dedicated webinar on fire safety for educational premises. This will be based on the Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG) guide - Fire Safety Risk Assessment Educational Premises. This session aims to enhance understanding of fire safety responsibilities and provide practical guidance tailored to schools.
During the webinar, we will:
- Discuss key fire safety measures outlined in the DCLG guide for educational premises, and Building Bulletin 100.
- Share insights on conducting effective fire risk assessments.
- Explore best practices for maintaining a safe environment for staff and students.
- Discuss fire safety questions from schools.
To ensure the session meets your needs, we kindly ask you to let us know:
- What specific fire safety topics would you like us to address.
Please include any questions in your email requesting a place. - What level would you assess your current level of fire safety provisions to be.
Your engagement and feedback will help us create a meaningful and relevant discussion.
How to participate
The webinar will be held online via Teams, towards the end of June or beginning of July 2025.
The closing date for emails requesting a place is 1 May 2025.
