BTEC Level 3 Awards for Teaching Assistants Working With Sensory Impaired Young People

The aim of both courses is to help mainstream schools, special schools and sensory services to provide quality training for teaching assistants to equip them to support children and young people with sensory impairments.
The course at award level consists of work delivered as lectures, practical skill sessions and work-based learning. All units are mandatory and will require attendance on all sessions. Each requires a commitment to produce five assignments and study time outside of the study sessions.
