Element 3 Allocations from September 2025

The allocations from September 2025 are being published on the Budget Share Tracker today under section I03. Each school or academy will also receive an email specific to their own circumstances or will have received an email before Easter.

Allocations are made up of up to two parts:

• Formulaic Element 3 - mirroring the funding the school would have received if the current block transfer was not in place from September 2025
• Cohort Element 3 - based upon SEND specific costings in Graduated Provision Maps (GPMs) taking into account Formulaic allocations and Notional SEN allocations

If you think that there is something missing from your allocation, or the information you have submitted has not been fully understood, then please do get in touch.

Please note that if there is a significant change to your cohort, or the needs of the cohort, then these will need to be discussed with the LA to allow for any required revision of allocations from September 2025, as previously advised.

Information will be provided in due course to Trusts to summarise the position for all your academies.
