The Department for Education has published guidance for professionals on child sexual exploitation. This includes a definition of child sexual exploitation, potential vulnerabilities, indicators of abuse and appropriate action to take in response. Advice for schools includes the need for early, age appropriate education about the risks of child sexual exploitation and the use of RSHE lessons, pastoral services and school nurses to highlight awareness of the topic.
