Try these 'quick wins' before thinking about anything else to get you started and see the difference you could make:

Choose a member of staff to be your Young Carers champion!
Complete the Carers Trust survey on staff understanding and confidence (Step 2 - Tool 6)
Deliver an awareness raising session with children and young people (CYP). Depending on the age and stage of your CYP, choose from these resources (watch the videos before sharing with CYP to ensure they are appropriate):
- EYFS / KS1 / LKS2 - Caring Together animated film
- LKS2 / UKS2 - Young Carers Matter video: 'We Are Young Carers'
- KS3 upwards - NHS England - Out of the Woods
