Required Finance Training

Information

To help schools complete their required finance training for audit purposes, the training team have produced the new finance training programme for the coming academic year.

This year will see the continuation of our blended or hybrid approach to learning with classroom based sessions, online webinar sessions, eLearning and other online resources available.

The full schedule of classroom based and online webinar sessions can be found here [Finance Training Course Schedule 24 -25]  (PDF) [123KB]

Information on finance training in general including how to access our courses, including online, can be found within our brochures that have been updated and can be found on our website

All finance training that schools undertake is linked to the RAG Matrix of risk management used by the authority as an indicator of financial management in schools.

Remember, as part of your Finance Support Package you can access any of our finance courses and online finance training material at no additional cost (unless otherwise stated).

If the Governing Board of your school has purchased a subscription package from the NCC Governance Service, then all of the governor finance courses (including online) can be accessed and booked via the GovernorHub website

Places on classroom based and webinar sessions can be booked via here, and a helpful video is available to explain how to access all of our online courses and material.
