Establish your RSHE provision with a locally delivered, one-day course!

A practical and comprehensive workshop for RSHE Leads in primary schools/settings.

Are you an RSHE Lead who is new to the role or looking for some professional development to develop your skills and knowledge? Do you want to learn how to comply with the latest guidance and legislation, and deliver effective provision for your school/setting? If so, this course is for you!

This course is fully-funded for all schools, who can access up to two places.

It is designed to help you:

  • Understand updated guidance and legislation that schools need to be compliant with and identify solutions to meet the demands effectively.
  • Identify practical approaches to securing stakeholder engagement from across the school community, including children and young people, their families and teaching staff.
  • Design and develop a policy and curriculum that is compliant with the guidance and meets the needs of your school.
  • Use evidence-based assessment, teaching and learning strategies with consistency.
  • Audit current provision and develop a whole-school approach action plan that enables you to measure progress and evidence impact.
  • Secure a whole-school approach to enable RSHE to realise your school values and vision, supporting with SMSC and British values, safe-guarding and the Equalities Act.

The course will be delivered by an experienced RSHE Adviser, who will provide you with expert advice and support. You will also have the opportunity to network with other RSHE Leads and share good practice.

The course will run from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm and will include refreshments and lunch.

Book your fully-funded place/s here or contact us at sendandinclusiontraining@norfolk.gov.uk. Hurry, places are limited and filling up fast!
