The NSCP is holding a Serious Youth Violence Conference on 6 March with fantastic local and national speakers presenting on the day.

  • When: Thursday 6 March 2025 - 9.30am to 5pm
  • Where: Wensum Valley Hotel, Norwich, NR8 6HP

Aim: To support the workforce to develop their thinking and practice when dealing with serious youth violence.

We will be hearing from local and national presenters including:

  • Andrez Harriott - The Liminality Group
  • Junior Smart - St Giles Trust

Themes covered at the event will include:

  • Trauma informed leadership
  • The adolescent brain: identity, belonging and drivers behind behaviours 
  • Understanding Gang Culture
  • Transitions and compassionate endings
  • Working with parents, carers and families to protect young people
  • Local responses and good practice
