For Staff

DigiFest is an annual celebration of digital creativity in Norfolk libraries throughout February. With free events for children and young people aged up to 16, there is something for every aspiring digital mind.

Aiming to inspire the next generation of coders and creators, DigiFest forms part of Norfolk County Council's digital inclusion strategy and helps hundreds of children develop essential skills, build confidence and have fun.

Next month, over 100 free events will take place across Norfolk's 47 libraries. Children and young people are being encouraged to try their hand at stop-motion animation, learn basic coding skills with different robots, create with 3D pens, and more.

You can help us to promote this opportunity by making use of the assembly pack, sharing resources with students and sending home our letter to parents. If you have any questions or feedback, please get in touch with Lily Troup, Digital Inclusion Coordinator lily.troup@norfolk.gov.uk.
