SEND and Inclusion Support Model Update

We hope that most people will be familiar with Local First Inclusion (LFI), our SEND transformation programme which is currently made up of seven key projects, all aiming to ensure that children and young people with SEND get a consistently high-quality education with the right support for their needs, in their local area first.
One of the projects is the development of a new SEND and Inclusion Support Model which will allow us to support schools earlier and in a more targeted way. We are now in the process of rolling the model out across the county and this will mean some changes to the way we work with schools, including changes to how we deliver our EPSS service (moving from a traded to a non- traded service).
All the information you need on the changes can be found here.
We will also be hosting two webinars where schools and partners can hear more about the model, the roll-out and the changes to the EPSS service:
- Join the Tuesday 11 February 2025, 16:00-17:00 meeting
- Join the Thursday 13 February 2025, 12:00-13:00 meeting
There are lots of positive activity happening within the projects so we have refreshed our LFI webpages (The Local First Inclusion programme - Norfolk Schools and Learning Providers - Norfolk County Council) to help you keep up with the latest information.
