Effective Education Transitions: Parent Survey Report
During the summer term of 2024, more than 500 parents responded to a survey relating to education transitions across all ages, sharing strengths and identifying potential gaps in support and provision. In general, parents were very positive about the experiences they and their children have had. They were grateful for the information and events.
Suggestions made for further consideration included ways to reduce young people's anxiety around transition and increased opportunities for visits to the new setting, school or college. The Learning Ambition will be taking these recommendations forward in collaborative work with education providers.
