FAO: All schools , 11 April 2025 10:23
Information

The Active Norfolk Foundation is a new independent charity established in 2025 to help people to be more active in the county of Norfolk.

They believe that by improving and sustaining the uptake of physical activity in the populations that need it most, they can provide huge benefits to the county of Norfolk.

Their vision is to inspire everyone in Norfolk to be physically active in whatever way works for them in their daily lives, giving them the confidence that physical activity is a journey that starts with one step.

The Active Norfolk Foundation will aim to secure funding and distribute grants in order to advocate and deliver projects focusing on inequalities. They will work closely with Active Norfolk, a separate organisation, and a variety of local partners from the voluntary, health and local government sectors, as well as establish new funding connections.
