The Norfolk Data Collaborative. A new free network group focussing on school data insights & intelligence

For Staff

As part of the Norfolk Learning Ambition, we are exploring how, across the education system in Norfolk, we use data insights and intelligence to help improve outcomes and life chances for young people.

As part of this work, we would like to establish a user group or network for those in our schools and settings who have strategic oversight of, or use, data as an evidence base towards helping our young people to Flourish.  This survey aims to understand your role in using or managing data now, the challenges you face and to gauge interest in joining a supportive network group - The Norfolk Data Collaborative.

Together, this network group may aim, for example, to explore data strategy, current context, challenges, and opportunities across the education system, identify best practice and enable collaboration in how we use data in our schools and settings.  We may work in partnership to research new topics or trends, identifying new datasets we can create, access and share together to help us all allocate resource effectively.

Open to all school phases and staff roles, we will host an initial, non-committal session (26 June, 14:00 - online) to introduce participants and may establish an online platform to facilitate sharing and discussion.
Depending on interest, as the project progresses, we may also create sub-groups for Special schools & AP, Primary and Secondary phase too.

This is a free initiative. Please register interest on this link, and we'll be in touch.

Thank you!
